Wednesday Shadow Visit Experience: HONR.300 - Honors: Community Engagement Seminar: This course combines didactic and experiential learning to create an advanced community engagement experience. Directed service-learning experiences align with graded, academic assignments relating to the course themes to ensure effective and ethical community engagement. Classroom sessions further extend student learning through opportunities for critical reflection and discussion. This specific offering is a community engagement seminar that is working with Scholars at Risk to design and implement advocacy campaigns. Thursday Shadow Visit Experience: COMSC.380 - Game Design and Development: 12:30pm–1:50pm This course introduces students to concepts, tools, and algorithms used in the creation of computer games. Topics include the game industry, formal elements of games, level design, game balancing, game AI, and graphics. Working in teams, students will create a complete game, from conceptualization and prototyping through implementation and testing. | |
