    Tuesday Shadow Visit Experience:
    11:00 am- 12:15 pm: SEC 240 - Introduction to Cryptography

    The course introduces applied cryptography theory for secure communication. Students will get introduced to symmetric-key encipherment and asymmetric-key encipherment. Students will be able to differentiate between block ciphers and stream ciphers. Students will be introduced to the mathematics of cryptography, such as algebraic structures, groups, rings, and fields. Students will learn about substitution and transposition components used to build cryptographical algorithms.

    12:30 pm- 1:15 pm: SEC 407 - Advanced Python Programming

    This course focuses on the practical development of solutions to common Cybersecurity problems in the industry.  The course further develops the ability of cybersecurity students in programming, malware, and data analytics using the Python language.  The course includes both development challenges and analysis of cybersecurity problems involving Python and other components used in the industry by professionals. It also introduces students to important packages such as Pandas and NumPy.
