Shadow Visit Experience Course Options Friday Class Options: FSI 226 - Forensic Science: 11:00 AM - 11:50 AM Investigates the relationship of the crime laboratory to the criminal justice system. Students learn the services provided by a crime lab; the scientific and legal constraints placed upon criminalists; the theory and practice of collecting, preserving, and analyzing of physical evidence. Laboratory experience includes analysis of microscopic evidence; identification and individualization of physical and chemical objects; development of latent fingerprints; rolling and classification of fingerprints; some instrumental analysis; and thin layer of paper chromatography. BIO 200 - Genetics: 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM Concentration on Fundamental concepts of inheritance, variation, mutation, and evolution. Examples selected from both the plant and animal kingdoms best illustrate various topics in Mendelian, population and molecular genetics. | |
