Thursday Shadow Visit Experience:

11:00 am - 12:20 pm: ENGR 445 - Dynamic Modeling and Control
Analysis and design of linear time-invariant control systems using frequency and time domain techniques. Course makes extensive use of computer-aided simulation, analysis and design techniques.

12:30 pm - 1:50 pm: ENGR 355 - Wind Turbine Design
Applies engineering concepts to the design of wind turbines, including consideration of the wind resource, rotor aerodynamics, mechanics, and controls. Offshore wind engineering, including wave kinematics, hydrodynamics, and support structure design will also be covered, as well as wind farm aerodynamics, and the social aspects of wind energy development.
