ENGR 355 - Wind Turbine Design: 12:30 PM-1:50 PM
Applies engineering concepts to the design of wind turbines, including consideration of the wind resource, rotor aerodynamics, mechanics, and controls. Offshore wind engineering, including wave kinematics, hydrodynamics, and support structure design will also be covered, as well as wind farm aerodynamics, and the social aspects of wind energy development.

ENGR 300 - Mechanics of Materials: 11:00 AM-11:50 AM
Emphasizes stresses and strains due to axial bending and torsional loading; shear and bending moment diagrams; combined stresses; Mohr's circle; deformations and deflections.
