Vectors, equilibrium of particles, rectilinear motion, Newton's second law, motion in a plane, work and energy, impulse and momentum, torque, rotational motion, elasticity, periodic motion, fluids, heat and thermodynamics. Tuesday Class Options: Honors: HONR.130D - Honors DEI Global Perspectives: Watchdog Media: 12:30 PM - 1:50 PM This variable topics course will develop students' capacity to be informed, unbiased and ethical global citizens who are open to diverse perspectives and able to address the world's most pressing issues collaboratively, equitably, and sustainably. Students will draw on historical and contemporary resources as well as marginalized narratives. Each section of the course will focus on a specific topic that will help students to understand the dynamics of global systems, to appreciate our interconnectedness, and to be more open, self-aware, and engaged citizens of the world. The course will meet the learning outcomes of the General Education Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Domain.
