Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center as a Substitute Behavior TechnicianMore about Jenna: I am currently a graduate student at Marymount University getting my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I will be graduating in 2026 with my master's. In graduate school I am currently doing two research projects pertaining to the correlation of psychopathy and childhood trauma with juvenile offenders and the second research I am doing is looking at the integration of Family Systems Theory with military veterans who are struggling with addiction. I will be starting my practicum in the summer which will be at the Virginia Hospital Center where I will be doing counseling with individuals who are managing grief and loss as well as major life transitions from being in the hospital. For work, I currently work at Life We Deserve LLC as a Registered Behavior Technician. In this job I am working with children ranging from the ages of 18 months to 12 years old who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am in my current job because of the internship I did at RWU. I really enjoyed my internship and wanted to continue my job in something similar until I was able to get my degree in counseling. I also knew that having the job I have now would give me an exceptional amount of experience of working with clients in order to apply it to my future job as a counselor. I chose to go to graduate school to get my counseling degree because I have always had a passion for wanting to help others and the way I knew I would be able to do that the best would be in counseling. I am hoping in the future to eventually get my doctorate and continue my education in the field of mental health.Schedule an interview time with Jenna! There are no upcoming events to display.
